I know you are all busy with Super Tuesday (at least in some states). For those of you in the states likely to be disenfranchised as I am (Pennsylvania) or who live elsewhere around the world, I hope you are having your own type of Super Day.
A quick post with some items of note:
Kiki Leroux Miller posted that there are 44 nonprofits registered for her webinar, “Getting Reporters to Cover Your Nonprofit: Tell Your Story So They’ll Tell It Too,” with Claire Meyerhoff. The cost is $20 and it runs Wednesday, February 6, from 2-3 p.m. You just need to register online before it starts. If I can free up the time, I’d like to be part of it (Wednesday afternoons are prep time for teaching my evening class in strategic planning, but I’ll try!)
Joe Solomon, blogger at NetSquared is being “Super” to all nonprofits by giving us tips for finding a volunteer (a good one) to help organizations with web 2.0. Check out both Part 1 and Part 2. I know in workshops I’ve been known to say “you get what you pay for,” but he has some great suggestions. (Just make sure they know your mission).
